Real tiny strawberry top seashell preserved in silver, the perfect gift for the shell lover in your life!

Hello, thank you so much for stopping by my little shop!

All the jewellery I make in my Silvery workshop starts life as a real organic item such as a leaf, feather, seed or shell, in this case a real seashell. Each item then goes through a lengthy process known as electroforming to coat it in many layers of pure silver.

This is the exact item you will receive, it comes supplied on a sterling silver chain.

Electroforming is a process where non-metallic things are treated with a special paint that makes them conductive so they can go through the process of electroplating, which builds up an even coat of the silver all over. The layer is much thicker than normal plated jewellery, so as long as you take reasonable care of the item it will last a lifetime or longer! The original item remains preserved inside the silver forever and therefore no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

All items are hand made by me in Hastings, East Sussex.

All chains and fittings are sterling silver and all items are supplied boxed and with care instructions.
